Purge Sleepers is whether to purge sleepers. Lower this value if you experience performance issues (lags). Entities Per Step is how many entities are checked every 'step' (16 times per second). Dont reload just because you did something that might be an issue :P. TBH Skyrim is more fun if you just roll with what happens. Saves space and keeps backups in case you screw up. As far as i can tell it doesnt have anything to do with steam cloud or anything, seems like its a bug that 'just happens'. So save1, save2, save3, save4, save5, save1, etc. :) This is one of the issues im also having OP, ontop of thumbnails for save files being blank or black.
